Besides the upcoming Rag... I would like to start discussing an event or two that we all may be able to attend. I recall Twinkle suggesting an event a few months ago, and would like her to chime in here. I have found a couple of events already announced for the upcoming year...

Anyway, with enough prior planning I am hoping we can start getting out there again... Lord knows I wouldn't mind an event or two.

I'm still waiting on my contacts in indy to get back to me with dates for olympics. As soon as I hear from them, I will post here. They offer cabins at that site, so I was thinking of snagging one for House and Legion use (and my dad, if I can convince him to come). They have something like 4 beds in them, with room for an air mattress. Hopefully, we will have more than 4 house members show up, so we can create a little tent city around the cabin (or set up a large tent or something. We can figure out logistics when dates are announced). I do know that we would need enough pre-reg's to get a cabin, so we'd need to get at least 2 more pre-reg's (again, that's just me remembering from last year, it could have changed. At which point, I will pass on the correct info).

I do know, however, the dates for Gates of Summer, the dominion event. Its may 6-9. That is the weekend before finals for me, but I still plan on going (I missed going to events the past few months). Byzantium has already established ourselves as a camp there, so unless we increase our numbers, I don't see much need to break off and form a new camp. If people are interested in going, I would like to know numbers by roughly march so I can get that info to the powers that be, in case we need to expand.

That's all I got for now. As I get info, I will pass it on to y'all. And sorry if my wording is strange or I seem off. Shatty and I drove thru the night to get to ohio, and I only got a few hours of sleep on the road.

AS of right now, the only event that is even being considered is Wolfpack opener, which may or may not happen due to outage nonsense.

May doesnt work for us due to school/last week before finals at work for me/lack of babysitting mostly.

Beyond that, I know we have Indore's engagment party in northern Il in July and I am not even sure how we are going to that yet.

Other than that, I need to survive this next 2 weeks then the outage before I think much farther long term.
