As most of the business that House Manticore conducts for House business is now done on Facebook, that and photos and all such, that and as I do not have the time or interest anymore to maintain new content...

In the early part of 2012 I intend upon closing down this website.

I have been in contact with Simon about this, and he agrees. This kind of website is no longer necessary, especially with social networks such as Facebook. It's been fun kids, but, this site is obsolete.

If there is any content on this site that you would like and want to keep in your personal digital collections, I recommend that you do that as soon as possible.

I will give more updates as time goes on.

Alright, I understand that we use Facebook as our main form of communication, but what about keeping this around as a general database? We have a lot of good articles on this site that would be a shame to lose if the site is taken down. What would happen with all of those if you take the website down?

Not to sound horrid here but what about Housemanticore email? Some of us live SOLELY on that. And honestly, Email in this day and age is kinda important.

I understand the website being more then a tad obsolete, but there are parts of House that we still use.

I second the maintenance of the wiki and the general resource parts. Can you just archive the forums and still save time, money, and headaches?

I am working with Simon now to get the accounts moved over to his name so that he can deal with the financial end of keeping the website operative.

Because of my life, and how things are going with it, I cannot guarantee any new updates to the website. I will attempt to administer the technical side as much as my time allows (which, again, is not a whole lot).
