Former Constantinople peoples:

I need any recollections, veiews, or any other items you feel would be relevant to the history of Amtgard in Illinois between 1983-2008 by Nov 1. Same thing as with Gheldar, I hope to have final draft done by Jan 2010.

I could use a list of who was in office at what times specifically. Then anything else you want to include or think is important, I will take it.

I really want this project to be as encompassing as possible, not just my opinions.

What information do you already have?

I have all the infor copied off the old point tracker, including awards.
I have, after all, a list I believe is accruate of officers. I will post it here for verification.
I have dates of when RW people visited, the date of the PT raid on Constantinople, and the date PT and Constantinople raided Hyborea. I have no other event dates, so more of those would be helpful (I know you guys were active down there).

And again, anything anyone feels is relevant is always helpful.

Another question: Was there ever a split-off group from Constantinople? If so, was it called Blood Guard?

There is a Company in Byzantium called Blood Horde... I am not sure if that is what you are refering to. However, there are two groups that were created from Byz members, one in St. Louis and another south of Carbondale. Unfortunately that is the limit of my knowledge on that.

BTW, Constantinople generally is not used anymore as Amtgard is not played anymore. There is essentially no interest in Amtgard with the membership, and on top of that, Amtgard as an organization was pretty poor in their communications with the leadership, so, the whole issue has dropped for Byz actually being an Amtgard realm.

I am aware that Byz has pretty much abandoned Amtgard, but as it was a part of Amtgard history in the state, I plan to included it in this work.

Blood Guard was a contracted land with the BLBOD whose contract was signed May, 2005. It was located somewhere in IL. I had recalled that their was an offshoot from Byz, but wasn't sure if it was Amtgard or not. Are these two offshoots Amt or Dag? and When did they form?

The St. Louis and Metro "offshoots" happened within the past year, and they are Dag.
