im a lil anoued because you guys no one showed up at all i set up camp for us and everything i ended up camping omega with us all i herd all event was i herd leagion is dead so i kept sticking up for us but it hard to be the only one in a fairly big grupe to be thare and on top of that all i was disshonerd by one grupe aand i couldent do nothing abought it it was a horrable weekend......

OKay, first off, calm down.

Yes, there wasnt much of a showing at Octoberfest, thats normal since thats a hard one for people to get to. Its during school and its cold. Personally, my family didnt make it due to other conflicts, and really, we have had a hard time for awhile getting to events at all due to have a family and jobs. And I am betting most people decided not to go to Octfest but instead come to the BBQ this week (thats if they only get one of the 2 weekends, they may choose the warmer-more family only option). That happens sometimes.

That being said, you posted "Who is going to octoberfest?" and I didnt see a single reply of "were coming" as such, I dont see you being dishonored. Disappointed maybe, but no one lied and said they were coming, so I dont see any dishonor in it.

We are still a fairly large group and may be "less active" at smaller events, but generally speaking at Wolfpack opener the last few years and Rag we always make a good show.

And Your not the only one whos ever been the only Legion at an event or Field. Most of us have done it at one time or another. Yeah, its hard and not the most fun, but I have never ever seen it as a dishonor when people have lives. It makes for less fun, but thats when you let the politics go and you have fun anyway.

I'm sorry it sucked, but as it has been posted in other threads on the board, no one is really capable of traveling to weekend events anymore. We all have real life obligations that we can't get out of at short notice. You should have known that no one was going to show up because no one said they were going. Believe me, people will make it known that they are going to an event.

Ok, I think I have a couple ideas of what group (or groups) were giving you shit. We'll talk about it more at the BBQ, but don't let it get to you. They know nothing of what's going on with Legion right now and therefore their words mean absolutely nothing.

On a complete random, are there more of you Danville Legionnaires we don't know about (ie, that haven't spoken up on the boards saying they are still with us)?

And wow, I don't know how I missed your first post on the thread, Bean Si. I think I must have been in a hurry or something.

I haven't made an event that is in Illinois (unless it is in Carbondale) for a very long time. I am due to get out to one of these. But honestly I stopped going to bel events a while ago. The shifts and such just made it not worth it to me. Living down here puts us almost as out of reach from the events we do attend. And the ones we have are even more so out of yours reach. I apologize for this and have a goal next year to make one event at that park. Its not much but with work and money it is something of a stretch for me.
Perhaps the next time I am in bloomington to fight maybe we could just meet there. It is a drive for me but I have family in the peoria area and could jump over there easier

And its not like theres not a place to crash in Bloomington as well dear.

Please use spell check and punctuation in your posts, Tank. I know that the human brain is still capable of interpreting when letters are out of order, but that's no excuse to throw away the education you've recieved.

I have no idea who you are talking about when you say Lady Fury. The only person I can think of is Lady Feri, and the answer is yes, she's still house (and is still for even asking otherwise). As for the other two, the names do not ring a bell with me, but perhaps the older members of Legion know who they are.
